Jim Seger

I believe that life is about spiritual growth but not just for the sake of our own personal spiritual growth. Rather, it is a way of growing that brings the Divine more fully into expression; the objective truly is "heaven on earth."  We have a ways to go, but I want to sing in the opera!

My passion is soul and the spiritual, the natural world, and how humans survive within it. In my own life, after a period of spiritual wandering, I had a deep and direct experience of personal and unconditional divine love. And I discovered my passion in the intersection between my work with the natural world and my spiritual life. I found that I needed to speak of my spiritual experience to others as a way of anchoring it and keeping it alive within me. 

This is part of what spiritual direction does.  It helps us locate and anchor the spiritual experiences we encounter in life, big or small, so that those experiences can continue to keep their hold within us.
